Blog recommendations and a book-signing reminder

I haven’t been blogging as much lately.  The term began at Winebrenner and UF and I’m doing all the catch-up stuff we professors have to do after a month away.  I’m also being added to another committee as faculty rep to the University of Findlay’s library and trying to decide on where I should try to deliver a paper this next year.

Excuses aside, I would, however, like to quickly recommend a blog worth reading.  If you enjoy discussions of faith and art, be sure to check out Iconia, the blog of Menachem Wecker.  Visit Iconia.

Also worth reading, see Mindy’s latest review of Mary Doria Russell’s The Sparrow at her blog www.mindywithrow.com.  Russell also had an interesting interview on Speaking of Faith some time ago worth listening to.  The interview is called “The Novelist as God.”

Lastly, if you are going to be in Findlay, Ohio, stop by the Stately Raven on this Tuesday from 5:30-7:30.  Mindy and I will be giving a talk and doing a book signing (more info here).
