The books on your list also sounded good to me.  I think I'll add them to my Amazon wish list. 

De La Torre is a thin volume, but there is a lot to learn from it.  Many of the evangelicals I know do not get as much exposure in De La Torre's area or may not appreciate some of the readings he entertains. 

I should note, it dawned on me that I never tagged anyone, but then I realized that everyone I know who blogs and has an interest in this has already been tagged.</description>

		<description>Our journeys are a bit similar. I almost went back to add Powell to my list right after i posted, and in my mind, I subsumed Kugel (and Levenson) under Enns. Thanks for De La Torre, i bet he is a better summation of what I was getting at with some of the other books I listed.</description>
