		<description>Prothero stands in that tradition  that is determined to be right at all costs.  he is entitled to his opinion but to exclude from consideration every spiritual path discrete from his own closes the door on a great part of humanity and their spiritual aspirations.  

Such a position is theologically questionable because it discounts the possibility that all are on the same path but on different parts of it although ultimately all paths converge at truth.

Wishful thinking?  Perhaps.  But godless?  hardly.</description>
